Have questions about owning a territory?
Learn how protected territories work, what makes a good market, and how to claim your city. Below are answers to the most common questions from future franchisees like you.
What is a “protected territory”?
A protected territory means you’ll have exclusive rights to operate a Jumptwist Ninja gym within a defined geographic area. No other franchisee can open a location in your territory, and we won’t operate corporate locations there either.
How are territories defined?
Each territory is defined by ZIP codes, city boundaries, or a population radius—usually around 50,000+ residents. Territories are outlined in your Franchise Agreement and are designed to support sustainable growth and minimize overlap.
What happens if someone else wants my area?
Once your territory is awarded and your Franchise Agreement is signed, that territory is protected and unavailable to others. If someone inquires about your region, we direct them to a nearby open territory—or refer them to you if you’re open to partnerships.
Can I choose my own territory?
Yes. If your city isn’t listed on our Available Territories map, you can still request it. We’ll evaluate the market size, demographics, and proximity to other locations before approving it.
Can I expand into additional territories?
Absolutely! Many of our franchisees plan to expand. Once you’ve proven success with your first location, you may apply for additional protected territories under a multi-unit agreement.
How do I know if a territory is a good fit?
We help you assess market viability based on key factors:
- Family demographics
- Youth population (ages 4–17)
- Competitive landscape
- Local demand for kids’ fitness and recreation
What if my city is “in discussion” or “pending”?
Territories labeled “in discussion” are currently being reviewed or reserved. If you’re interested in one of these, let us know—sometimes deals fall through, and we may consider your application as a backup or offer you a nearby alternative.
