The Story Behind Jumptwist
The name Jumptwist started as a nickname for founder Christina Gambino, who grew up training in gymnastics, martial arts, and dance. When she launched her first business—Jumptwist Music & Choreography—the name lived on, representing strength, artistry, and movement.
In 2017, Christina was selected to compete on American Ninja Warrior Season 9 in Daytona. There, she was introduced as The Jumptwist Ninja, and the brand evolved with a new mission: to create empowering movement spaces for children and adults alike.
Growing up, Christina spent 30+ hours a week in the gym, often watching her mom sit on a bench—overwhelmed, juggling siblings, and with no time or resources to care for herself. That experience helped shape the Jumptwist Ninja model.
Today, our gyms are designed to support the entire family:
- Free fitness centers for parents
- Flexible class schedules and memberships that fit real life
- A complimentary coffee cart to recharge caregivers
- And a vending machine stocked with handpicked, organic, nut-free snacks—so kids (and parents) can fuel up with confidence

Founder Christina Gambino is a natural problem-solver. Navigating the launch of her first ninja gym through a global pandemic and rising inflation, she built systems that streamline operations, find top notch talent, and give owners their most valuable asset back: time.
What started as a mission to empower kids became a blueprint for empowering business owners—so they can build something meaningful, spend more time with their families, and truly enjoy the journey of entrepreneurship. Christina now enjoys the freedom to be present as a mom, while mentoring other owners to do the same.
But Jumptwist Ninja isn’t just a system—it’s a movement backed by incredible people.
Having Flip Rodriguez on our team has changed everything. A 15-time American Ninja Warrior, stuntman, and advocate for trauma survivors, Flip is one of the most inspirational humans we've ever met. His mission goes far beyond the podium—he’s committed to shaping future leaders through mental strength, hard work, and character.
